I am looking for some good quality manure for my vegy garden's winter break.
Any suggestions on weather i should use fresh green manure or some that has already broken down some, any suggestions on where to find quality manure in my area and how to apply it. Thanks.

Thanks for posting that article..I was getting ready to add green manure to my veggie garden plot. The county extention office will do a soil test for free, so I am now going to have soil tested before doing anything, and psossible save me from alot of extra hard work!!!!!

Never use raw manure, I garden Organically, and have been for years.
Well Composted Manure, Green manure crops and time will adjust any soil and bring alive the soil microbes, which are your gardening allies

My equestrian friends keep me supplied with the meager quantities of aged manure that I require. I use such as one of the minor components in my compost heap rather than as a direct additive.
