Identification: Nubby black fungus

    Try Carbon Ball or Daldinia concentrica....you're find is in a younger stage so sometimes hard to find ID for it.

    I Googled both names and its texture looks closer to the Carbon Ball. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks.

    lol...'Carbon Ball' is the common name...the other is it's scientific one...lol
