Wildflowers: Now that I've had such success I'll try three by a lake near us

    I think it's better I post these in separate messages to avoid confusion. All these flowers were on the edge of a wooded area beside a lake near our home.

    Believe it or not I have many pictures of wildflowers I've been able to identify by harassing friends and friends of friends.

    I would have guessed this was a rose, except it was growing wild and I saw no thorns.
