    hi,
I have started my edible garden this year for the first time. Being novice and forgetful, I planted veggis and seeds and 2 weeks after learned about PH meter. I noticed that I need to raise the PH of the soil from 6 to 6.5 or 7. It was in my mind to pour dolomite on top of soil but by mistake, I sprayed the seeds and edible plants with lime sulfur. Now, plants are growing. First Zucchini and tomatoes are out but I am scared to eat them, since I am afraid that my mistake will cost my life. Do I need to throw everything out and start all over again?

Unless there are other unlisted ingredients in the spray
both element and necessary nutrients that ought to be
harmless. They may taste a little odd though.

Both lime and sulphur are edible in small quantities, and you won't be able to taste the minuscule amount remaining at the time the plants produce crops.

Don't pour on the dolomite, one pH point is a huge change likely to have adverse effects on the existing soil system. It will (and should) take some time and repeated applications to make that much of a change.

Very true. Besides, most vegetables and many other plants do best in slightly acidic soil.
