Not sure what type of flower this is...thoughts?

    Hello there, does anyone happen to know what type of flower this is? It looks like Impatiens, but I don't believe it is. Thoughts?

    Hi, IMO it is an Impatiens. Common name 'Busy Lizzy'.

    Thank you. I didn't they they were Impatiens, as the centre is a little different, but you are probably correct. Thank you.

    I agree that the flower centre is different and the leaves seem different as well. Could we see a photo of the back of the flowers? And the leaf arrangement - are the leaves opposite or alternate?

    Hmm, possibly a Catharanthus roseus, common names Pink Periwinkle', Bright eyes, Old Maid and others

    That seems more likely to me. At first I was seeing ones where the petals did not overlap, but now I have found several others that look like the flower and leaves here. Here is a page with some:
