Identification: Not sure what it is can any1 help??

    I have been given this plant a an xmas gift and havent the foggiest what it is or how to care for it. does any1 have any idea??

    Looks like Solanum muricatum.

    hi sorry to bother you again. but iv noticed that somthing was eating the plant and it seems i have alot of catterpillers and a bug that looks like i mite but its a pearl like colour? how would i get rid of them without hurting the plant???
