One of my Norway Spruce tree's branches are drooping and some feel soft and wilted. There is also has a bluish- gray mold growing on the branches and trunk. What is wrong and what can I do to help it?

The mold is probably spruce adelgid.

Sounds more like lichens to me.

    thanks for the replies...

Checking pics of both...it is lichens on the tree. It says this does not harm the tree so that doesn't explain the wilting, mainly of the lower branches. When I figure out how to get a pic on here, I try again. Thanks
