Wildflowers: North Carolina orange flower ID

    I photographed this small orange flower today (October 18, 2015) in the McDowell Nature Preserve in a meadow area of disturbed land.

    Can you help me identify it please?

    Ipomoea. It looks like Ipomoea coccinea from the photos I'm seeing, based on querying orange morning glory.
