Norfolk pine in trouble

Discussion in 'Araucariaceae' started by Unregistered, Jan 3, 2006.

  1. My boyfriend rescued a norfolk pine from the dumpster at his work. The top branches are all dry but the bottom branches on a couple of the trees in the pot are still supple. Is there any hope for this tree? Should we prune the dead parts off and hope it sprouts new growth from the roots? Any advice will help

Probably not a good use of your time, sounds like it's nearly/completely dead.

There is no use in helping this plant out because it is too late to revive the tree, My advice to you is to get a new tree from walmart or home depot. Wyatt
