Any suggestions on how to keep my curious kitten out of my new little tree? Also wondering if it would be okay outside right now (I’m in New Westminster), or if it is too cool still?

    Any help greatly appreciated !

I learned the hard way with my Norfolk Pines. I was living in Daytona Beach Florida and it was setting outside for years on my front porch and getting morning sun. It grew beautifully. I moved to West Virginia and took it with me and within one month it was dead. I have one now setting on my ledge at work here in Michigan where she gets sun all day and once again she is beautiful. I have made it a habit that once I have a plant and it doing beautiful where it is at, I DON"T move it. Because everytime I do, it stresses them and they die!!!!! In short, if there is too much of a temperature change between where it is now and where you want to put it, I would be afraid of stressing or possibly killing it.
