Hello everyone. I am looking for your help regarding seed/seedling growing containers suppliers, preferably in eastern Canada. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get the Ray Leach type containers of www.stuewe.com closer to Montreal where i live. The shipping costs from the quote is as high as the products themselve, being shipped from Oregon (the weight of the shippment is probably a factor too) More precisely, I am looking to sow less than 1k pine trees in the next months. Hugo, One of the largest forest industry suppliers in Eastern Canada used to be located in Sherbrooke Quebec. I thought the company name was Nova Silva but I couldn't find them when I searched. It may be that they have changed their name or location. I'd try asking your provincial ministry of natural resources. If that fails you might try Plant Products Quebec at www.plantprod.com. I'm not sure... this doesn't look like them. The company I'm thinking of had a catalogue with about 100 pages (probably more) of products like planting flats, transplanting tubes, fire fighting equipment, marking paints and ribbons,cruising equipment... just about anything related to the forest industry. I probably am wrong about the name but you could likely find out from your local ministry of natural resources.
Some nurseries here were kind enough to sell me containers! Namely www.arbresenligne.com and www.pepinieregaucher.com I'm happy now :)
