What would cause my pink dogwood trees to fail to bloom? I planted them 5 years ago with blooms on them. They flourish with great green leaves, but only this spring has one of them bloomed: it put out only 3 pink blooms. Do I need to adjust soil ph?

I'm not sure. It is a question that's been asked on here before, with no replies, so it seems to be a bit of a puzzle.

Are they doing as well as before you bought them, or might they have not been having that great a time on your place? Certain minimum level of vigor is required before flower buds are set.
