    Hi everybody,
i've just bought my first bonsai at ikea a couple of days ago. I read that bonsai sold in great departments such as ikea most of the times have very bad soil and a lot of clay around the roots (not good for water drainage i guess). Shell I repot my new ficus or should i wait untill spring ?Now it looks very healty,i wouldn't like it to die in the next few weeks...

    thanks for your help!!

    Hello Rachele80
How is your ficus? I have only just seen your post. My advice would be to leave your ficus in the same soil if it is doing ok and then repot in warmer weather. That will also give you time to read up on the best potting mix for your environment - inside, outdoors, climate etc.
    ciao bertoli
