My wife and I transplanted our dogwood in May 2004. We watered our dogwood last summer very well, but the leaves still (by July) turned brown and withered, but they didn't fall off till late fall. This year, we have not seen leaves on our dogwood, although other dogwoods in the area have leaves and are blooming. Have we killed our tree or is their still hope?

I really wish the person who planted that tree (before we bought our home) would have thought better than to put it 2ft from the house.

    Thanks,
    Adam
