I have two plum trees that have been in my garden for about 5 years. Neither have ever produced any fruit.

In fact, the largest tree, which bloomed profusely the first year I planted it, did not have any blooms at all this year.

The trees both look healthy and robust.

    Any suggestions?

The lack of bloom is odd. Wonder what caused that, maybe it is the same problem that is interfering with fruit set. Hard frost killing the flower buds? Otherwise you need bees to be working the trees at flowering time, sometimes these aren't present. And you need to have cross-compatible plum varieties planted near one another. If you did not plan for this when selecting and planting your trees that may be a big part of the problem.

One tree is a "peach plum", supposedly self-fertile.... any suggestions for a companion plant for this tree to help with pollination?

Surfing "plum pollination chart" may bring up a page with a table that includes this variety. Or maybe "peach plum pollination" would get you a good result.

for lack of flower would the frost hours be an issue? Keats can be pretty mild if I remember correct.
