Last year was the first in which I grew Dahlias. At the end of the season, I dug up the tubers and stored them properly (I'm pretty sure!). I've been checking in on them every now and again, and by now I was expecting to see eyes on the tubers - but I don't. The advice I was given was to bring them inside now to warm them up, and in a couple of weeks I should see eyes sprouting.

    Is this good advice?

I don't know if just bringing them to warmth will do the trick, but I normally bury the
tubers in moist peat moss in a shallow tray, in the basement, until they sprout.

The Dahlia Society of BC told me to dig up my Dahlias and try again in May or June because right now the soil is still too cold outisde.
