We have picked out a weeping blue cedar and plan to pick it up tomorrow. I will be installing it myself in North East Tennessee. Soil is mostly clay, with thin layer of top soil. Site is in full sun. Would you be so kind as to tell me of anything I should do or not do to help avoid some of the problems that I have been reading about here ( mites, beetles, ect.)? If we get it started good maybe I won't be asking how to save it later. Also where can I find info about how it should be trained?
    Thanks for your help....
