I am an avid photographer who has taken thousands of photographs of flowers and plants over the years. Most of them I have no idea what they are. I simply photographs for their beaauty. I have now decided it's time to start identifying them so I googled and found this site. I hope you all do not get tired of me asking for help.

Here is my first request for help. I am attaching a flower I took at a local south florida park a few months ago.

    Thanks..

There are more then one type of plumbago. Yours looks like the shrub - cape plumbago - Plumbago auriculata.

You are correct. I did take the photo on a plant in a parkthat was maybe 2 to 3 feet tall that they were using as a small hedge.
    Thanks
