i just bought myself a couple of jalapeno and carribbean red hot pepper plants. I wish to grow them in containers, would it be okay to put both of the plants in a larger container rather than putting them in individual containers? how large should the container be if im putting them together or if i put them individual containers? im going to put the containers outside on my deck over here in vancouver bc. your help is appreciated

For one pepper a 12 inch pot would be adequate. It seemed to be big enough for a sweet pepper that I grew in my greenhouse last year. Hot peppers tend to be smaller plants, so maybe an 18 inch pot would be okay. I really think that they would be better in separate pots so that they are not competing against each other.
