Hi! I found this forum while searching looking through the UBC website. I'm surprised I haven't come across this forum before but I'm glad I'm here. One of my favourite things to do is to putter around my garden. My passion is my herb garden. I tend to look at plants through the eyes of an herbalist...what can I use this for? My husband is the opposite and we balance each other out. Over the years I've learned to just enjoy a plant for the beauty it brings. When I'm not puttering around my herb garden, I'm either spinning, knitting, or elbows deep in washing fleece! - Lavender
Hi Lavender, Welcome to the Forums. Some herbs are also quite beautiful plants, so you can have beauty and use at one time. You spin wool I take it. Have you ever tried to make natural dyes from your herbs? I guess most of the good dye plants are no longer commonly grown now that we use synthetics. Enjoy the Forums!
