I'm from Eugene OR, Z8, and wonder if there are any gardeners nearby. My main interest is in tropicalesque gardening, but I'm also putting in a veg/fruit garden. Would like to discuss growing, trading, where-to-buy, and other Pac NW subjects. I grow gunnera, musa basjoo, cordyline Australis, figs, fatsia, 2 bamboos-clumping and running, clivia, petasites japonicus, tree dahlia, tons of lilies, euphorbias, sedums, ginger lilies, elephant ears, ferns, eucalyptus, etc etc.
I'm way up in Portland, and looking at your list of plants, you probably know a lot more than I do. Shrubs and trees is more my thing - just a few small plants. Starting to experiment more now with the little stuff. Any Master Gardener groups down that way?
