New to canada and looking for a good hedge species.

    Hi everyone,

    Im new to BC, well Im new to canada as well and Im looking to plant a hedge on my property in Fort Saint James - north of Prince George. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendation as to which type of bush to plant. I would like a dense foliage about 1 to 1.5 meters high. I don't mind trimming and shaping.

    Lilacs, perhaps? That's what we had on the prairies.
