Someone gave me this fruit.
Possibly Echinocystis lobata.
No it's not Echinocystis lobata
What about Sechium? Although it tends to be more pear shaped.
Gomphocarpus for me as well.
I'm not sure what is clinging on the pedicel but I don't think that should be there if it was Gomphocarpus.
The fruit also looks solid. I think Axel is right. I think it is a prickly chayote, Sechium.
