I live in Ontario Canada, Last year i planted some morning glories and this year too but one last year was very different and it actually came back this year. I have searched the internet and cannot find what this is. I have included a pic of the flower. Please note the leaves are exactly the same as morning glory leaves.

Maybe it's really a new morning glory species: an Ipomoea invisiblea... :)

Did you plant this flower?? Usually sunrise serenade are red or dark pink not like the ones we have. I have never seen one in real life so it is hard for me to judge the size?? Where do you live?? Mine came back from a harsh winter. There is not alot of info on this flower i know it grew at least 15 feet high if not higher??? I wish someone would just plop out all the info they have on this vine.
Any info you have would be great : )
    thanks

HI! I live in Alexandria, Virginia. I did not plant the vine - It started growing next to my compost pile. Its beautiful and not like any morning glory I've ever seen. It doesn't have a center or throat like the others... It almost looks like a mutated "scarlet o'hara" morning glory.
