Identification: New Redbud "rising sun" leaves white patches

Hello. This is my first posting on this forum. I recently purchased 2 rising sun redbud trees this spring and noticed about 2 weeks ago some white bleached out appearance on the golden colours leaves for both trees. Does anyone know why this is happening? I used bone meal during transplanting and we have a sprinkler system for the garden area.
