I was give a tree philodendron. It was in a pot with two other plants. I potted all of the plants in new pots. About 3 months afterwards a new plant stated to grow in the pot with my tree philodendron. It has a similar heart shaped leaf as the philo but not the same design to the leaf. I am trying to figure out what it is. It is not the same as the other two plants that were with the philo when it was given to me. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure what one of the plants that was in the pot with the tree philodendron is. The person who gave it to me thought it could be some type of sansavieria. I think so as well but I am not sure. The leaf is waxy. I have been treating it as a sansavieria and it is doing good so far.

@plantlady22, your question is a little confusing - it's two questions, right? Regarding the first two photos, I agree with Junglekeeper. Regarding the third photo, it does look like a Sansevieria.

There is a drainage hole in the pot it is hard to see the saucer at the bottom of the pot. I don’t like to use pots that don’t have drainage holes. Thanks for the information on philodendrons.
