https://purdueplantdoctor.com/ I found reference to this side in a NY Times article, and thought to give it a try. Many pages on the site didn't load completely, though whether this was because our internet is still wonky post-lightning-incident (which is certain) or the site was overwhelmed with users after the Times piece, I don't know. Regardless, the site seems to be well put together for both novices and more experienced gardeners, with good comprehensive explanations and an adequate number of pictures. Users in the USA can use it to plug into the excellent university extension lab program, if they don't find the answers they need. Though it would be impossible to cover all pests and diseases, they do a pretty complete job with most of those we're likely to run across, and each section includes advice as to what products/ingredients, if any, can be used to control or eliminate the issue. There's also a nice section on beneficial garden insects, which includes pictures of larvae as well as mature specimens. I found it quite helpful. Purdue is a very good university with a first rate reputation, especially for law. I would expect we can have high confidence in any information (other than political, lol) which they release. -E
