Hello! Anyone know what these are?

The first two pictures are of a bush. Its a very uniform bush, so far about 2 1/2 feet tall x 2 1/2 feet wide. Seems to be something edible, at least my chickens think so, and they don't just eat anything, but they like these... we have several and the one in their area, they've eaten quite a bit of. It looks like some sort of leafy green to me, so I'm wondering what it is.

THe 3rd and 4th picture are of a plant that seems to be coming back. It appears that last year's left overs are some "woody" type stems, approx 3/4" in diameter, that shoot strait up and are slightly spread out. Its pretty now, but not sure what it will become. :)

The final two pictures are of what I thought was some sort of lilly... but now I'm pretty sure its not. There are a bunch of these in the flower bed, they are 3 and 4 feet tall now and all come off a strong center stem, just like Oriental Lillies. No appearance of buds yet, so now I'm not sure what they are... but they look like they were planted there, not weeds, so I'm stumped. :)

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your help in identifying these! There are so many things planted here and I've been able to identify most things, but I have about a half dozen things I still haven't been able to figure out what they are! :)

The sedums are commonly known as Autumn Joy. They don't bloom until August here in Ont. Canada. I have three different colours. One light pink, one medium pink, and one that is a bronzy rust colour. They are drought tolerant plants and need little care. They also divide easily if you wanted to give the chickens a plant to nibble on.

Autumn Joy is a translation of 'Herbstfreude' which is only one of several cultivars of this type - the different colors would be examples of different cultivars.

The last plant shown here is a mole plant (Euphorbia lathyrus).

    Thanks everyone!!!

ahhh... given more time, after it grew more, I would have figured out hydrangea... just couldn't figure it out small and without the telltale flowers!! :)

thank you, thank you!!!! I like the Sedum, and it looks like it'll be pretty in the fall too! I had no idea it would flower... wouldn't have guessed it!

now the last one... hmmmm... I think that'll go, since its poisonous. I guess it was planted to repel moles and gophers!

Thanks again for sharing all your expert knowledge with the common folk! :)
