    All,
This is my first post and this is a great site. I wonder if you can help. My wife and I just bought our first home. It's new and the builder has included some plants outside. My goal is to learn about them so I can care for them, but I don't even know what they are. Hopefully someone can help identify these. They're probably not too difficult for the experts here.

I'm not sure if those palm-type trees (are the same type or not). I'm that clueless!

    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

Might be Miscanthus, Juniperus Sp., Lantana camera Cv., Catharanthus roseus (Madagascar Periwinkle), Syagrus romanzoffiana (Queen Palm), Roystonea Sp. (Royal Palm), Eugenia Sp. (Surinam Cherry),
Quercus virginiana( Live Oak), Schefflera arboricola variegata, Not sure on the last one.

I was thinking mondo grass, Ophiopogon, for the first one.

#2 is a Juniperus horizontalis cultivar. Not sure how well it will do long-term in Florida, it is more of a cold-climate plant and might not cope with the heat.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies. I knew I could count on you! Now I'm going to do some research on how to care for them.
