I recently purchased 3 grape plants and have had them indoors for about 3 weeks, they are growing very well. There are these tiny clear looking gel beads that are forming on the new green vine, my question is what are these and is it normal. I was in another garden center recently and noticed that some of there plants had the gel spots as well.

Another question, I am propagating cuttings from an old grape vine and the buds have opened and the leafs are coming out but then they seem to start to turn from a mint green color to green with a brown tint. It doesn't look like they are dry or dead and are still growing, what may be causing this or is this normal.

I am new to this and appreciate any help I can get.

    Thanks

The sap balls are normal; there's even a name for it that escapes me at the moment, one of those "~esence" words. The bronze coloration is also normal in some red varieties.

I wasn't even close: the word is "guttation". It's normal.
