Hello! I am a new gardener with lots of enthusiasm. 3 years ago, I planted a clementis in my flower bed. Each year it comes up green and healthy. After a few weeks, the leaves begin to turn brown from the bottom up. Eventually it all dries up and the leaves fall off. I cut it off and it is done until next Spring when it starts all over. Should I use some kind of chemical on it or dig it out? Will anything I plant in that spot have the same thing happen? Thank you.
