New cactus flower.

    Hi. THis is a new cactus flower. What is the name of it and how can I pollinate it to receive teh seeds. It is beautiful isn't it? Who can help me more with cactus informations?

    Some kind of Trichocereus (currently moved to Echinopsis), I believe. I guess the flower is short-lived? I have grown very few Trichocereus, and I don't dare to guess what species it is.
    I don't think it is self-fertile, I have never got any seeds from single specimens from the Echinopsis group, so you will probably need another plant (not a cutting from your plant, the DNA must be different).
    CactiGuide is a good site (with a forum) that focuses on cacti and succulents, plenty of information there.

    Can I spread the pollen to the flower with any brush or mechanichally? Does it works?

    A brush or a hair (for example a cat whisker) is the usual tool for that.
