Identification: New Brunswick forest mushrooms (C)

    Can anyone help with ID? We've got lots of these growing around the yard (we live in the middle of a somewhat boggy balsam fir/maple/birch/white pine forest...)

    this kind is typically growing to about five or six inches in cap diameter

    An old Boletus? can i see a picture of the top of the stem where it meets the cap?
