I just got my first orchid a while ago. The flowers on it are very beautiful, but one of them seems to have gotten a little shock. The newest unopened flowers have started to bloom. I will be taking more photos as it opens.

The one on the bottom has some wrinkly petals and another looked to have bent a bit since I got it. I think they could just be old flowers maybe. Other then than the plant looks good to me.

Agree with kevin---your plant looks good. Sometimes flowers will wilt early if they get warm suddenly, but sounds like your orchid is OK. If you buy a plant in bloom, no way to tell just how old the flowers are. And some varieties wilt sooner than others. If the leaves and roots are healthy, all should be well.
I have a fondness for spotty phals with curly lips!
