    This photo bounced from the hiker who took the picture, apparently in Nevada, to his dad in Costa Rica and back to me in Vancouver.

    If you know what it is, I can send the information back the same way.

    Well, you did a much wiser search than I did. I was lured in by such a display of scarlet on this cute low-life that my searching took me nowhere.

    And, while I was wasting my time, you were noticing what the plant did not have.

    • By the way, there is an excellent little video, beautifully put together, on the web page referenced above. Recommended to everyone reading this, even those who are familiar with Snow Plants.
