Hi everyone. I'm new here and have a few questions regarding my Nepenthes ventricosa.

The soil is to be kept damp at all times but now I'm getting mold on the top of the soil. I've read in past posts to sprinkle cinnamon on top of soil but am wondering if that is safe with this particular plant.
Also, after the cups have died do I pinch the entire end off up to the leaf?

See no reason why cinnamon would be unsafe. (When used in sensible moderation.)
I have had good results with cinnamon as a mold eliminator/preventer.

Suggest you leave the pitchers until they have completely browned and dried.
