Needs Help Maple ID

    I bought this maple from the local nursery recently, but the label only says Japanese Maple.

    We are now in spring here, so I don't know what the autumn colour is.

    Looks like a typical wild type Japanese maple. If not grafted not likely to be a named cultivar.

    Thanks, that was quick!

    That's what I suspect too, and I'm glad it is a wild Japanese maple. It held up pretty well yesterday in a windy 33C (91F) day!
