Need to identify ground cover please

    Can somebody please identify this ground cover? It has small purple leaves and in summer has purplish pink flowers. Only grows less than an inch and has fibrous roots.

    no it is not succulent, seems to be quite dry with no really discernible smell. only a ground cover which seems to be spreading every year.

    Binky, your pics are so blurry I can't see any detail at all. Unless someone is very familiar with the general form of this specific plant....and unless it's very unique, you're not going to get an ID. Most of us rely on details like leaf shape, leaf attachment, growth pattern on the stem, etc to make an ID. Often, even if we don't know the plant right off, knowing these details can get us to family or genus.
