Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on something that would cover our black plastic edging along our pathway. I'm looking for an evergreen/preferably something that flowers at some point, but most importantly grows low and bushy enough to cover the plastic edging.

I've got Allysum in there for now, but would like to have something perennial and evergreen.

    Thanx!

I have considered using mondo grass, either green or black (Ophiopogon) for this function; rather than creeping it arches over the edging. It doesn't multiply that fast though so this would be either a long term or high cost option. Something taller and cheaper like Liriope might also be considered.

In your design it doesn't have to be a low plant either (nor of course the same thing all along the walk). I have patches of Anthriscus sylvestris Ravenswing and Artemisia lactiflora "Guizho" that stay mostly evergreen and both have low spreading foliage; same with Francoa sonchifolia.

Another alternative is to use something other than the black plastic for edging, or at least to conceal it with another form of hardscape.
