I have several different kinds of palm trees at the hotel that I work at and some are showing signs of strees possible fungus or diease. I did alot of research on my own and kind of wanna double check my findings with y'all before I take any action. These first 2 photos are of palms that I think are suffering from a magnesium deficiency or something to that effect. The type that has it the worse are the ones in the picture..but I have also noticed the same conditions on the 2 types of tall palms that we have too. Everything I have looked at said get some ferterlizer and it should be fine.
These next group of photos is from what I first thought was a fungus of some sorts...however after using the search feature on this wonderful forum y'all have here..other posters that have similar photos as mine have been told that they are simple flowers about to bloom. Just wanna make sure that this is correct
And lastly this palm is the only one we have of its kind....4 days ago this palm did not look like this. This is the only one that I have not been able to find anything on.
Second one, yes, that's flowers. Last one looks like a Phoenix palm. Also looks like it has had the old leaves cut off too soon, they should only be cut when they are no longer green (and if they'd already turned brown when cut, then the tree has a nutrient deficiency - it should have far more green leaves than this!).
we havent cut anything off the tree and that color is a bright orange that this morning there is starting have bright orange spots on the green leaves.
