Need some help with ID of this tree leaf.

    Again, was found in Douglas Arizona, tree is large and leaves appear to be a dark, almost black purple. Any help out there?

    Maybe try a local independent garden center, botanical garden, arboretum...

    We have gone to three large tree farms and two batonical center...no help.

    Can you get a photo of the whole tree, and of a shoot showing the leaf arrangement? Also, of any flowers or fruit that might be present. Including a 10 or 15cm ruler in the photos for scale would help, too.

    Yes, it looks the same, however, this tree is always deep purple to blackish purple???
    I am trying to obtain pics of the tree itself...thanks so much for you interest.
