My 10 mnth old son ate this plant this morning and I'm trying to indentify it so I can research possible safety issues and effects to look out for. Thank you, H
It looks like Sedum rubrotinctum, but online IDs from photos can easily be mistaken as some totally unrelated plants look similar to each other and accurate ID can depend on small characters not visible in photos. Sedums are not dangerously toxic. Whenever poisoning is a risk, I would advise contacting medical service of some kind--like a local poison hotline at least to get medical advice right away rather than waiting for ID of the plant (and you may have already done this.) There is also the possibility of allergies even when plants are not toxic, so good to monitor all new things that little ones come in contact with.
