    Hi there
I have a cute little type of Aloe Vera. its about 3 inches tall with dark green spiky leave with white rings. I like it but it hasn't grown an inch in years it seem to grow sideways but now up. If anyone has an idea of what it is let me know
    Thanks

I think i have one just like you are describing. Mine is in the beginning stages of flowering. Almost a shame, that flower spike will never make it through my kitten. *sigh*
I just did some research (google) and found this name... Haworthia attenuata. It looks just like my plant.
    Hope this helps.

Are you sure it's an aloe? Your description Kinda sounds like it could be a Haworthia, "Zebra Haworthia" maybe? Just a thought thrown out there...

You know you might be right, I just assumed it was an aloe plant due to the shape of the spines but it sure does look like zebra stripes. If so does it ever get any taller than about 2-3 inches and is this a type of succulent?
    Thanks for the reply

If it is a zebra haworthia, which is a succulent, I don't think they get over 6" although yours could be a different type of haworthia that looks similar and that stays smaller, not sure.

I'm not sure mine are (zebras) they could be "lookalikes" They get watered once a week (if dry) with some weak cactus fertilizer and some direct sun, some 6" tall, some shorter but are still growing...

thanks a bunch, I have it a pot that I got in Mexico it has a face carved into it and the plant makes it look like a head with a spike haircut. I water it about 1-2 weeks and it seems ok I just might get some cactus food to feed it once in a while
    Thanx again <:o)

Does it look something like this? The main plant is 5" tall and makes pups like crazy. This is not firmly identiified yet but is probably Haworthia fasciata or maybe H. attenuata. Advice on that would be appreciated. :o)
