I transplanted a Blue Spruce about 6 months ago. It is about 5 feet tall. The last couple of months the bottom branches look like they are dying (branches turning brown, needles falling off), also spreading from bottom up. I did fertilize after noticing this and we had alot of rain this spring. The top of the tree looks very healthy with new growth.
