    Not a cactus. Apocynaceae - Looks like a Huernia or Stapelia.

    Sounds like a good call to me. Thanks! I'm thinking this is probably Stapelia kwebensis. What do you think?

    I don't know much about them, just recognize the plant in general. I inherited one with my office. Some of the flowers can really stink - you may have to put it outside while it blooms. Quite showy flowers though.
