Need help to ID this plant

Possibly Solanum rostratum. Common names Buffalobur or Kansas thistle.

Not really that incredible. :) Came across it while looking for another unknown, Solanum viarum, a couple of weeks back. Both have the "thorny leaves", which I did a google image search on. Sometimes it's just serendipity.
