Need help pollinating natal plum

    I recently received a natal plum bonsai tree and i was wonder how to polinate the flowers manually to make the plums and also the material needed

    you can simply use a coton swab and touch the male part of one flower and transfer the pollen to the femal part of another flower, and hope fully you will get some fruit and seeds. these plants grow very quickly from seed.

    Have a look at this document. The flowers may need to be cross-pollinated. I have a number of seed-grown plants that have yet to flower. Turns out I may need to keep more than one if I want fruit.
