Need Help - Mexican Flower?

    I recently visited Riviera Maya, Mexico and my wife and I fell in love with these purple flowers that grew throughout the resort. I know this isnt the greatest picture, the purple flowers just inside the green outer layer. Not the tall purple/pink flowers growing in the center. Any help is greatly appreciated!
