Identification: Need help IDing

    Hey. i just need help identifying what this plant is, also if any knows the proper care for the plant. I just got it from a friend who didn't want it anymore and he didn't know anything about it, it looks like its about to die.. Thanks for the help

    Yu may want to rescue this Violet by removing it from its current pot, and replant it into a smaller one, and let it semi dry out.... also cut off the largest leaflets... and give it a bright window for light.... do not keep the soil wet!

    African Violets do not like to be watered from the top .. have a somewhat deep saucer under it and water it that way .. they are good about sucking the water up ..
    watering from the top and water touching the leaves can kill it ...
