I picked this one up at the grocery store and it was listed as "Tropical Foliage". Can anyone please help me ID what kind of palm it is.

    Thanks

I suspect it would be difficult as the root systems are likely intertwined. IMO, the current grouping looks nice as it results in denser foliage that individual plants cannot provide. Don't know how it would work out in the long term though.

Because I'm going to try to keep this plant inside, is there any way to keep it (and another small majesty palm I have) from out growing our 9ft ceilings?

    thanks

the only real way i now how is to limit the size of the pot.. only repotting when absolutley nessesary. there may be other ways that wont make the plant suffer as much.
